Booking Terms and conditions

Ambernature Tours and Safaris provides mobile safari camping experiences across Botswana’s top wilderness areas. These terms and conditions govern bookings made with Ambernature Tours and Safaris (“the Company”). By confirming a booking, the client agrees to the terms set out below.


1. Bookings and Confirmation


2. Payments

  • A non-refundable deposit of 30% of the total safari cost is required to secure a booking.
  • The balance (70%) must be paid no later than 45 days before the safari start date.
  • Bookings made less than 45 days before departure require full payment upon confirmation.
  • Payments must be made via bank transfer. All bank charges are the responsibility of the client.

3. Amendments

  • Changes to confirmed bookings are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
  • The Company reserves the right to charge an administrative fee for any changes made after confirmation.

4. Health and Safety

  • Guests must inform the Company in advance of any medical conditions, allergies, or dietary requirements.
  • Participation in safari activities is at the client’s own risk. Clients will be required to sign an indemnity form before the safari begins.

5. Itinerary and Activities

  • While every effort is made to adhere to the planned itinerary, the Company reserves the right to make changes due to weather, wildlife movements, park regulations, or other operational reasons.
  • Safari activities may include game drives, mokoro excursions, nature walks, and boat cruises, depending on location and conditions.

6. Child Policy

  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Some activities may not be suitable for young children due to safety regulations.

7. Liability

  • Ambernature Tours and Safaris will not be held responsible for any loss, damage, illness, injury, or death arising during or as a result of the safari.
  • The Company acts as an agent for third-party suppliers and cannot be held liable for their services or actions.

8. Force Majeure

  • The Company is not liable for delays or cancellations due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or government actions.

9. Jurisdiction

  • These terms are governed by the laws of Botswana, and any disputes shall be resolved under Botswana jurisdiction.
